[觀點] 如何學好英文？李家同：會寫文章才算學好英文

教育部大力推動全民英檢，但一向推動偏遠地區學童英文教育不遺餘力的暨南國

際大學資工系教授李家同表示，考選擇題沒有用，要會寫英文文章才算學好英文

，若能寫好文章不犯文法大錯，加上可以看懂英文新聞網站，英文程度才可稱得

上是好的程度。

李家同24日以「如何學好英文」為題，在師範大學國際會議廳發表專題演說，現

場300人的座位擠得水洩不通，連走道上都坐滿了聆聽的聽眾，顯見國人英文能力

普遍不足，也希望提升自已的英文程度。

李家同表示，英文要好，沒有捷徑，只能按部就班、細水長流，由單字及文法著

手，最好的方式是，每週由CNN等英文新聞網站選取一篇文章，以單字10-20個為

目標，每週背誦，並將所有生字鍵入檔案，以便複習。

此外，每週必寫一篇文短文，請英文程度不錯的親友、同儕協助修改，務必知道

錯在哪裡。他說，寫文章不犯大錯是推升文法程度的不二法門，一旦文章不再出

錯，文法技巧自然就好了。

他強調，若能持續不斷練習，待看得懂CNN、BBC等新聞網站，英文程度就算是相

當不錯。在聽力方面，他認為，ICRT、BBC NEWS都唸得太快，不過，一旦單字記

得多，自然聽得懂，會寫也就會說了。
