以逼企業改變來拉抬股價聞名的積極派投資人艾康（Carl Icahn）公開致蘋果公司（Apple Inc.）執行長庫克（Tim Cook）的信函，敦促蘋果董事會擴大股票回購規模。

身價非凡的艾康在今天刊於個人網站上的公開信中表示，若蘋果接受他的提議實施1500億美元庫藏股計畫，他保證不會交出手中的股票。艾康透露，他已將蘋果持股從8月的340萬股增加到470萬股，總值25億美元，還說他打算買更多這檔他認為被低估的股票。

艾康在信中表示：「我們的批評只跟1件事有關：蘋果庫藏股計畫的規模和時間框架。很明顯地，我們認為計畫應該大得多且立即執行。」

蘋果發言人陶林（Steve Dowling）未立即回應彭博社的採訪電話。

艾康鼓吹加碼回饋股東幾個月前，蘋果才公布合計1000億美元的股利和庫藏股計畫。在投資人批評蘋果沒有推出突破性新品之際，今年蘋果股價表現不如多項指標指數。

台北時間晚間10時47分，蘋果紐約股價上漲0.3%，報523.60美元。這檔股價年初迄今計挫1.1%，相較之下，美股標準普爾500指數同期漲幅超過22%。

艾康在信中表示：「有人可能批評我不支持股東長遠利益的論點，為證明這是錯的，我在此答應不讓我的股票在1500億美元公開收購提案下被買走。我的意圖絕非短線可以形容。」
