基隆市議長黃景泰今日上午於基隆市慶安宮開記者會，表明自己參選市長的決心，將動員五百人連署讓他參選。

黃景泰認為自己最近捲入的關說弊案為「有心人士造謠抹黑」，聲稱自己的清白。對於國民黨日前的廢止提名，黃景泰表示，國民黨「不分是非、不分黑白」，廢止提名為不符合程序的做法，將交給人民來判斷。

黃景泰說，政黨如要永續運作，標準必須一致，還舉苗栗縣提名人徐耀昌、台東縣長提名人黃健庭為例，要求國民黨公平處理。

基隆市議長黃景泰今日上午針對遭到國民黨中央黨部廢止提名一事，怒轟國民黨，並宣布爭取參選基隆市長決心不變，當下與妻子相擁親吻，表示很感激妻子在低潮時相陪到底。

基隆市議長黃景泰昨天被國民黨中央黨部廢止提名，本來預計今天上午10點半在議會公開對外說明，臨時改在慶安宮舉行，要在媽祖面前公開他的決定。有幕僚指出，黃景泰以前每天上午都會先到慶安宮參拜，今早他就在慶安宮前宣布他的四點聲明，表明參選基隆市長到底的決心。

他首先指出，涉關說案為烏龍一場，他一生坦蕩，國民黨開鍘違反程序正義。

第二，國民黨是黃景泰永遠的朋友，下周五（18日）中午前，他會動員5萬人簽名連署支持他，並堅定參選到底。

第三要感謝檢調，證明500萬現金是政治獻金，選舉是需要資金的，這500萬元非不法所得。

第四他要感謝一路支持陪伴的家人，尤其是辛苦的太太。而說明會過程，黃景泰夫人全程陪伴在旁。

基隆巿議會議長人黃景泰被國民黨中央撤銷基隆巿長提名資格，黃景泰今天上午10點多由太太、律師陳明暉陪同在慶安宮對外宣布要發動5萬名選民簽名支持他參選到底，對於是否退黨，他強調「國民黨是我永遠的好朋友」，將棘手問題推回黨中央。

黃景泰落座後，緊握太太的手，他發布4點聲明。

一、堅定參選基隆巿長，雖然黨違反中國國民黨黨員參加公職人員選舉提名辦法，但他是中國國民黨永遠的朋友，也替民調落後的台北巿長參選人連勝文加油。

二、宣布下周五中午以前，動員5萬名支持者，支持他參選到底，他有信心20多年來的選民服務，耕耘基層，能讓支持者超過當選門檻。

三、感謝檢調澄清500萬元資金來源及國民黨的200萬元政治獻金，造成風波的關說一事，根本就是一件烏龍，他坦蕩蕩，任何選舉都要花費，不信問林右昌（民進黨對手）。

四、感謝太太及小孩的溫暖支持，有人造謠抹黑，利用桃花事件落井下石，向太太所受的委曲表達歉意。他說到此，又緊握了太太的手，吻了她的臉頰。
