雖然桃園的象猿大戰，賽前兩隊高層為了昨天的觸身球事件仍有不滿，但兩隊也是還是有溫馨的小故事。
 
昨天比賽，中信兄弟洋將耐克，跑壘時不慎對桃猿三壘手林智平「肘擊」，讓林智平因此退場，今天耐克特別送了他從美國帶來的球棒，希望表示歉意。
 
「這是支好球棒，我希望你比賽時能用它。」耐克對林智平說，昨天真的不是故意的，希望用這支球棒表示道歉。
 
昨晚，6局上時，耐克在二壘，因周思齊的左外野安打落點太巧妙，導致判斷過慢，進壘時與林智平相撞，雖然耐克出局，但林智平卻也因此退場。
 
耐克說：「那球不好判斷，而且我腳傷才剛好一些，在滑壘與不滑壘之間猶豫，加上想閃，才讓右手臂撞到林智平的臉，雖然我很壯，但至少比手肘撞到他好。」耐克很關心林智平的狀況，昨晚甚至透過陳鴻文，用臉書詢問林智平，今天到場也問媒體林智平的狀況如何。
 
透過練習生的轉送，拿到耐克的球棒後，林智平的第1個反應，竟然是想請耐克簽名，但耐克揮手說，「這是我在美國打的球棒，特地從美國帶來的，很好打，是支好球棒，希望你比賽能用，如果長度重量不習慣，我還有其他的讓你換。」
 
林智平說：「沒什麼大礙啦，打到臉的側邊而已。」今天的象猿之戰，他則休息1天，讓新秀梁家榮擔任先發。（王翊亘／桃園報導）

「觸身球是不是故意的，屬於他的自由心證，我尊重他的看法。」中信兄弟總教練謝長亨，對於昨天賽後，Lamigo桃猿總教練洪一中，認為陳鴻文是故意對藍寅倫投觸身球的批評，如此回應。
 
謝長亨說，洪一中當總教練這麼多年，他的投手也有投過觸身球啊，能保證都不是故意的嗎？「觸身球後，洪總已經進場抗議了，後面的批評，像是『白目囝仔』，都太多餘了。」謝長亨強調。
 
草總並舉例，之前在花蓮比賽，跟最近的賽事，桃猿林柏佑與黃偉晟都分別曾對彭政閔投出觸身球，「我也可以說他們是故意的啊！」謝長亨說，希望對方用同樣的標準，指導自己的投手。
 
桃猿隊認為，藍寅倫是因為前天的封王戰，在7局領先4分時，接連盜了2個壘包，才讓兄弟隊不爽，想要透過觸身球討公道。謝長亨說，「不會因為這件事情去報復他，他的盜壘跟表現非常精彩。」
 
至於惹出風波的投手陳鴻文，今天則以「謝謝指教」4個字，回應桃猿隊的批評，不願再多做解釋。（王翊亘／桃園報導）
