預計 2014 年底試產的 High Energy 系列則是在「體積能量密度」與「重量能量密度」上有大幅度突破,與「同體積」的傳統鋰電池相比,FLCB 能多出 1.5 至 2 倍的電量。輝能科技認為 High Energy 將是最適合應用在智慧型手機、平板或 Ultrabook 上的新型態產品。
對比先前 Apple 釋出的軟性電池專利與 LG G Flex 手機上的彎曲電池,輝能科技的 FLCB「軟板薄型鋰陶瓷電池」無疑是一大突破。擁有豐富的軟性電池專利也讓他們成為 Apple 與多家電池廠商的收購目標,不過輝能科技卻拒絕各方的收購,並在台灣購置廠房與生產設備。相信在未來數年的軟性電池技術上,輝能科技應該能持續帶給我們更多驚喜。
