http://udn.com/NEWS/DOMESTIC/DOM5/8652627.shtml 來自日本的奧西克彥和高橋佳，因為覺得日本生活壓力大，兩年前來台學中文，年初在東 區開設台日語言交流咖啡廳。他們說，剛來台灣時，發現台灣人有很多不可思議的地方， 像是工作時間會吃東西、目的地很近卻會騎機車或開車、有些男生太溫柔體貼。 今年29歲的高橋，在日本念大學時就上過中文課，而33歲的奧西因為很喜歡看台灣偶像劇 ，常邊看邊學，所以「中文對我們來說不會很吃力」。為了能融入台南，兩人講話跟著在 地人加入常聽見的口頭禪「蛤？」、「真的假的！」、「然後」。 高橋說「台南步調很輕鬆」，雖然現在開咖啡廳一天工作約14個小時，但在日本做業務的 時候，他上班時間為早上8點至凌晨12點；加上通勤各1小時，在家時間只5個多小時。「 對日本生活已感到疲倦」，所以兩人想在台灣定居，至少壓力不會太大。 奧西說，剛來台灣時，非常不習慣在地交通，出門都提心吊膽；另外，台灣人講話很大聲 ，像吵架、工作時會吃東西、啤酒加冰塊、男朋友很溫柔、天氣很冷上半身穿很多，腳卻 穿拖鞋等等，讓他們覺得很不可思議。 【2014/05/04 聯合報】@ http://udn.com/ -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 220.142.73.23 ※ 文章網址: http://www.ptt.cc/bbs/Tainan/M.1399170454.A.0FE.html

Oriental's meaning is 'connected with or typical of the eastern part of the world, especially China and Japan, and the people who live there'

oriental 的意思是 「與世界東方，特別是中國、日本等地有關連的，或有該地域特質的，以及住在該地域的人。」

oriental's meaning 是比較隨便的說法，用 the meaning of "oriental" 或 the definition of oriental 會好些。

connected with 是「有關連」 的意思， typical of 是「有某種特質，某種典型」，這裡是指 「connected with the eastern part of the world, or typical of the eastern part of the world」，即 「與世界東方部分有關連，或有那地方的特質的」。

公職要考或放棄?

本人是5等考上 就考5等的經驗來說

記得之前在一本針對公職考試的雜誌上
看到有個考上的考生說
如果考超過4次還是幾次？(忘了)沒上
就代表沒公職命 不該在考下去
當時 我還沒考上
看到他這段話 我想 那我之前考了4次都沒上
是否表示我沒那個命 該放棄
可是我沒放棄 後來我也考上了5等 而且名次蠻前面的
如果我當初真的認為自己沒那個命
現在的我也不會是公務員

我想妳都差個幾分 那妳也許要去檢視是哪一科的問題
看看每次都是哪幾科較弱拉低了分數
像我回頭看看自己之前之所以考不上
是因為我沒有學到教訓 明明知道哪些科弱
還是沒好好準備 導致分數高的一直都是那幾科
分數低的還是低 也是落榜關鍵

當然也不建議一直考下去 要衡量自己情況允不允許
給自己一個期限 比如3年內要上 告訴自己若沒上就放棄
這樣也算逼自己要更拼

依法規定，開車、騎車不能使用電話、滑手機，行人低頭滑手機過馬路未來也可能吃罰單，民進黨立委提案，若使用手機有礙行進安全，可處300元罰款。

今日出版的《聯合報》報導，民進黨立委邱志偉提出道路交通管理處罰條例第78條修正草案，行人行經斑馬線時，若使用手機有礙行進安全，可處300元罰款。他引美國「受傷防制期刊」（Injury Prevention）研究報告，走路時收發簡訊的行人，過馬路至少出現1種不安全行為的機率，是一般人的4倍；美國紐澤西地方政府對路人開罰，每次罰款金額為85美元（折合台幣2550元）。（陳亮諭／綜合報導）

今晚首波梅雨鋒面報到　中部以北劇烈陣雨

今天白天東半部地區雲量偏多有陣雨，西半部地區也有局部短暫陣雨，偶爾可以看見陽光，不過山區受到對流發展旺盛影響，可能有瞬間大雨、雷擊及強陣風出現，提醒民眾外出記得攜帶雨具。

中央氣象局預估，今天晚間今年第1波梅雨鋒面報到，各地降雨機會提高，尤其中部以北及東北部地區可能有劇烈的陣雨或雷雨發生機會，請民眾特別留意。這波鋒面估計將持續影響到周四，全台各地都有陣雨或雷雨。

氣溫方面，今天北部及東半部地區高溫約26到29℃，中南部地區高溫約30到32℃。（生活中心／台北報導）
