這支算是早期首波推出的OTG隨身碟之一，別看它迷人的身材好像很簡單，它可是包含了Type-A接頭隨身碟、Type-A轉Micro-B轉接器、保護蓋三合一的結構。為了讓使用者開蓋或是拔出隨身碟較為順手，於轉接器部分共有4條止滑的塑膠突出結構。同時在轉接器上也有個吊飾孔，方便隨身攜帶或是掛在手機上。最後，如果使用者對TLC存有心理恐懼的話，這支也是此次測試產品中唯一顆粒類型為MLC的產品，但讀寫效能較為一般。
大家對Apacer的OTG產品會有印象，大概就是前一代AH171的動物臉部造型，計有蜂蜜熊、粉紅豬、霸霸虎3款。新推出的AH172同樣也是走可愛風，放在包裝裡是糖果的造型，實際取出使用則是花朵造型。AH172的設計理念完全與其他OTG隨身碟相反，隨身碟本體只有Micro-B的接頭，再透過包裝隨附的轉接器給電腦使用。雖然說它個頭大了點，但是包覆的橡膠手感柔軟，於手機上拔插時相當省力，具有纖細玉手的使用者可參考看看。
Gigastone這個牌子可能大家比較不熟悉，購買時也許也不會正眼看他，但平心而論，其工業設計在此次15款隨身碟中是數一數二的佼佼者。連接頭採用推出式設計，往不同方向即可推出電腦用的Type-A插頭或手機所使用Micro-B插頭，收納時則將卡榫置於中央，2個接頭皆可收納於機身內部。外殼上也有吊飾孔，且因塑膠外殼的緣故，掛在手機上比較不怕刮傷手機表層，唯一要注意的是過於激烈的拔插方式可能會將塑膠Type-A接頭扭斷。
這次評測中有2款產品鬧雙包，Kingmax就是那其中的1支。此隨身碟的外殼為金屬製，顏色既不是銀色，也並非大家最近瘋狂愛用的金色，而是比香檳金還要再淡一些的顏色。相關零件以COB製程和電路板相關零件組合，再放入金屬外殼中。若純粹以隨身碟本身的體積而論，此款的體積最小，比較可惜的是吊飾孔的位置在保護Micro-B接頭的塑膠蓋上，有可能在經常攜帶的情況下，發生蓋在碟亡的慘劇。
Patriot Stellar的身形，較一般直接以USB Type-A外殼作為隨身碟外型的產品略長，因為此款Type-A接頭為USB 3.0，USB 3.0多出來的5根接腳會影響到COB製程可使用空間。此款的吊飾孔在Micro-B接頭方向，Micro-B接頭也有個小型的塑膠蓋保護，而且塑膠蓋有延伸出機構和隨身碟本體作連接，因此不怕遺失蓋子。在讀取速度測試中，此款式循序讀取最高可跑出140MB/s～150MB/s左右，是本次眾多OTG隨身碟中的第一名，時常讀取資料的使用者可考慮。
