第三勢力政黨崛起，並把明年立委選舉視為重要戰場，社會民主黨今早10點將由籌備處召集人范雲率先宣布參選北市大安區立委，強碰同是第三勢力政黨的時代力量所推出參選人閃靈樂團主唱林昶佐（Freddy），並挑戰連任多屆的國民黨立委蔣乃辛；據了解，范雲昨晚也與林昶佐見面，討論兩黨合作的可能性，雙方同意朝正面方向持續溝通。
 
據透露，雙方在交流中談到兩黨現況，未來若能合作，首要面對的狀況就是北市大安區的選戰佈局，因為強碰恐會分散票源，而以民調、辯論來一決高下都是解決的選項之一；據了解，雙方也有詢問，對方是否能採「換區」方式來避免強碰，但沒有結果，僅確定未來會持續協調、溝通。
 
時代力量建黨工程隊副總隊長林峰正受訪時僅說，目前先了解對方想法，未來會持續保持溝通，任何可能性都不排除；社民黨籌備處秘書長嚴婉玲指出，兩黨確實有觸及「換區」議題，但仍未達共識或做任何承諾。（黃信維／台北報導）
