英國《鏡報》揭發英國軍醫前往丹麥參加戰地醫療訓練的爭議內幕，指出訓練過程以活生生的動物當對象，包括將活豬倒吊槍擊以製造槍傷，讓軍醫學習如何在戰地緊急處理傷患，軍醫在這些受槍傷的豬隻還有氣息時，進行手術搶救，訓練人員還暱稱這個訓練為「丹麥培根行動/手術」(Operation Danish Bacon)。
 
這些照片公開後，遭善待動物組織（PETA）抨擊，表示這個訓練無論是從醫學、道德或教育的角度，都無法站得住腳，要求結束這樣殘暴的活體動物訓練，而且就算醫生成功完成手術，這些充當病患的豬隻最後還是會被宰殺。
 
不過英國國防部發言人駁斥指控表示在丹麥受訓的軍醫，學得重要醫術在戰場上拯救不少性命，並指出所有用於訓練的動物必定都先經過麻醉，以人道的方式處理，而且這類訓練是丹麥政府所主導並非英國，因為在英國不允許用動物從事軍事訓練。 （周佩萱／綜合報導）

美國警方幫違法民眾建檔拍攝的大頭照，還真無奇不有，論壇網站Reddit上就整理出一系列「OMG」(我的天啊)大頭照，有些違法者就真的太搞怪，很難不引起警方注意，想不被抓都很難。 （國際中心／綜合報導）

第四天:從難波出發=>奈良公園=>東大寺=>興福寺=>春日大社=>難波
以上行程是否還有改進的地方呢?

福慧具足的佛陀一定知道
所以佛教才提倡隨緣
因為佛陀已經了解眾生各個因緣不同
不是所有的眾生有福報可以接觸佛法,
聽聞佛法, 相信佛法, 甚至依教奉行

不要說是耶和華
佛陀也一定知道還有回教的阿拉!
而且不是所有的眾生一開始都是佛教徒

佛陀甚至也說了經過多長時間會是末法時期
所以現在才會出先一堆新興宗教
因此佛陀早就知道會有這些事情以及人物了

問題裡的 "靜" 可以分好多種...
好比說環境的 "安靜" 以及內心的 "安分"
亦是不打妄想!!

對於初學者 (譬如我) 修禪
那麼一定得在安靜的環境裡慢慢修行
因為學佛粗淺, 且又業障深重
要得到那種境界很困難

再加上許多媒體或是電影以訛傳訛的宣染坐禪的印象
好像修行者一定要單獨在屋內, 或是深山 (安靜的環境)
才算是修禪

但是我曾經過某位法師開示 (忘了是誰)
真正的修禪定者
不限於任何地方任何道場
也就是說不管這個人在什麼情況下
不管你坐著, 站著, 或是行走
遇到事情或境界都不起心動念 (內心的 "靜")
那麼這就是禪定

我覺得很有道理
不知有沒有回答到 Sage 大的問題?!

個人認為:

自命清高 = 佛教五毒裡的 "我慢"

本身有我慢不算違背佛法
這是個人習氣
也算是個人的業障

一個沒有接觸佛法的人不認識什麼是我慢
因此而無法改進
那麼也只能隨順他人因緣
等福報夠了在來修習佛法

但如果懂佛裡的人知道我慢, 認識我慢
卻不願意自己修行滅除我慢
那麼就是違背修佛的精神
