【大紀元2013年12月23日訊】（大紀元記者于欣然美國休斯頓編譯報導）休斯頓衛理公會(Methodist)醫院一台手提電腦及文檔於上週四（12月5日）遭竊，約1千3百名器官移植病患個人信息疑似外洩，包括姓名、社安號、出生日期和病例。衛理公會醫院隔天公開致歉並補償損失，但病患憂慮如果身份被盜將影響器官移植手術。

Tamra Mires女士為接受腎移植已經在候診名單上足足等待了兩年之久。當收到衛理公會醫院深夜致電，她興奮的心情可想而知。 「還以為是通知我有（匹配）腎臟的消息。」她說。然而電話另一端傳來的卻是她個人信息不幸被盜。

衛理公會醫院在聲明中並無透露電腦遺失細節，但表示已向休斯頓警察局報案，並遵循聯邦政府規定通知美國衛生和公眾服務部。儘管病患信息均已經過加密，醫院仍將補償每位病人為期一年的免費防身份盜竊服務。

Mires女士更擔心的則是身份被盜會否影響腎移植手術。她的生活主題除了每天大把的藥丸和8小時腎透析之外，就是等待。在美國，腎移植平均等待時間為3至5年。 Mires的姐妹Tanya Richardson擔心如果她身份被盜引發信譽糾紛，是否會繼而影響腎移植手術。

「我非常緊張害怕。」Mires說。她目前只擁有一個健康腎臟，倘若無法進行腎移植，或許她一生都必須依賴透析儀洗腎。

休斯頓醫學中心近年來接連發生幾起病人信息外洩事件。今年8月，德州大學醫學院一台手提電腦被盜，涉及600名病患信息。 2012年4月，安德森癌症中心一名醫生的手提電腦在家中遭竊，內含近3萬個病人數據。同年7月，癌症中心又遺失一個貯存2千2百個病人信息的可攜帶優盤。

美國衛生和公眾服務部規定一旦發現病患個人信息外洩，醫院必須在兩個月之內通知所有受牽連的病人。如果人數超過500，還需主動通知當地有影響力的媒體，予以曝光。

今日出版的《聯合報》報導，江男趁機撫摸女大生私密處，女大生隨即斥責江男，但又擔心遭江男性侵，只好佯裝鎮定，未料江男食髓知味，撫摸她的胸部，趁她躺在床邊壓住身體，被她推開「我不喜歡你這樣」，江男才罷手。高雄地方法院判決江男強制猥褻罪處有期徒刑8個月。
