美國經濟自大衰退復甦已六年，就業成長欣見蓬勃展開。去年為自1999年以來就業成長最佳的一年。今年1月，美國就業再增加25.7萬人。消費者信心來到數年高點，汽油價格則接近數年低點。

但許多美國人未必感受到改善。「心理上存在著鴻溝，」市場周末節目主持人李慈(Lizzie O’Leary)說，「美國人，尤其是中產階級，感覺並不踏實，一直在思索薪資能否向前邁進，她說。美國的薪資成長依舊疲弱。根據華爾街日報報導，過去五年，私人企業每年薪資成長約2%。「我們並未見到薪資大幅成長，」李慈說。

但部份美國大型零售商，最低薪員工獲得了加薪。Wal-Mart (WMT-US)上個月宣布，4月開始，時薪員工每小時薪資為9美元。為了留住勞工，其他零售商可能被迫跟進。

然而，即使薪資再度開始成長，美國人仍懷疑其個人的經濟。根據Pew研究中心於10月做的調查顯示，僅有30%的美國人相信，今日的孩童長大後，經濟會優於他們的父母。李慈說，她每周都聽到聽眾的這類心聲。「我們本周在節目裡問聽眾，"你落在經濟階梯的那一層？"許多人感到他們退步了，」李慈說。

劉德華（華仔）在新片《失孤》扮農民工，為尋子受盡委曲，昨片方公布終極預告，他無助地說：「師父，為什麼偏偏是我兒子丟呢。」一開場就惹人心疼，在尋子過程中，被打落水、苦苦求人的情節，更是讓粉絲直呼「虐心」，有場戲華仔被女村民抓住頭髮連賞了好幾個耳光，拍攝過程中，為達最佳效果，他毫不猶豫，讓對戲演員加大力度「狠抽」，被打到臉都紅了，敬業十足。吳君如、梁家輝2人這次也客串演出，該片20日在中國上映，台灣預計春天上映。（楊景婷／台北報導）
