青出於藍指青色是從蓼藍裡提煉出來的，但是顏色比蓼藍還深。語本荀子．勸學：「青取之于藍而青于藍，冰，水為之而寒于水。」後用以比喻弟子勝於老師，或後輩優於前輩。唐˙白居易˙賦賦：「冰生乎水，初變本於典、墳；青出於藍，復增華於風雅。」糊塗世界˙第十一回：「駱青耜道：『老哥是青出於藍而勝於藍了。』黃伯旦道：『言重，言重。』」亦作「青過於藍」。
“狗眼看人低”是一句民間俗語，字典上查不到的，意思是說有的人品行不怎麼樣，有點勢利眼，把比自己高尚且有才能的人看低了，自以為是。而據生物學家從生物學的角度解釋說，“狗眼看人低”有一定的科學依據，說是人在狗眼裡比實際要渺小得多，因而狗們見了陌生人才敢狂吠乃至撕咬。

至於為何是狗呢..?

因為在比較早時期人對動物都沒什麼感性可言 都只會拿來做事 而不是像現今"養狗" 當時狗就是拿來做看門狗之類的..但是其他牲畜可以拿來做其他事 所以當狗眼看人低是是十分卑賤的
一個巴掌拍不響
俗諺。比喻引起爭吵衝突，雙方面都有錯。《紅樓夢》第五八回：“‘一個巴掌拍不響’，老的也太不公些，小的也太可惡些。” 劉賓雁 《在橋樑工地上》：“早先勸架的常說，一個巴掌拍不響，可是這一件跟吵嘴打架是兩碼事。”

比喻：
雖然兩人犯同樣的錯誤，但犯較少錯誤的一方卻取笑犯錯誤較多的一方。
