【黃于珊／綜合報導】陳喬恩有2隻可愛的貓兒子作伴，今天上午她在微博先po出愛貓圓滾滾的照片，虧牠「才幾天你就成了顆球，你這樣真的好嗎……」，沒想到10分鐘後她又po出自己的圓臉照，還自嘲：「才幾天妳就成了顆球，妳這樣真的好嗎……。」有網友虧她「妳到底是在給牠們餵什麼呀」？但也有粉絲安慰她「2兒子這麼圓滾了，冬天來了，抱著熱和」、「妳家3顆球，一家三口好歡樂」。

【大紀元2013年10月16日訊】（大紀元記者筱陽波特蘭編譯報導）俄勒岡州教育局分析顯示，俄勒岡州最缺少多元化的六所小學全部為特許學校（Charter School）。也就是說，這些學校擁有人數最少的低收入家庭學生、英語為第二語言的學生、以及非裔、拉丁裔、太平洋島民或美洲原住民學生。

為了提高學校評級的公平性，俄勒岡州教育局今年對學校人口進行統計，確定哪些學校有著類似的學生組成，並於上週四公開這些排名。在今年的學校報告中，六所特許學校中的四所表現成績優秀。

特許學校是對所有人開放的公立學校，其中很多具有獨特的教育風格，例如提供外語教學課程、豐富的室外課程、蒙台梭利（Montessori）教學方法、以及以各種項目為重點的學習方法。

特許學校的學生並非按照家庭住址進行分配，而是每個家庭需要申請。如果申請人數過多，則按照抽彩方式錄取，並切學生需要自己提供交通。

雖然學校的多元性可以不僅僅按照種族、收入或第一語言來確定，但分析表明，這些因素往往與學生的考試成績相關聯。因此，俄勒岡州教育局認為，在對學校加以比較時，考慮這些因素是很重要的。

在俄勒岡州的七百所小學中，僅有三所特許學校最為多元化。但特許學校也並不總是白人佔大多數或者沒有低收入學生。 例如，波特蘭的SEI學院90 %學生為少數族裔，85%屬低收入。該校專門幫助弱勢非裔美國學生，今年被認為是表現最佳的中學之一。
