【陳慧明／台北報導】1984這一年，是Marc Jacobs與Robert Duffy共同開創MARC JACOBS這個品牌的時間，也是「The 1984」包款的名字。包款設計靈感源自50年代的男士公事包，宛如古董包般的外型，選用上等法國小牛皮，並以精緻復古的超薄金屬扣板著名；僅管非常薄，但它仍有正常鎖扣的功能，需要12個小時的手工縫紉才能完成，而且包款容量極大，可內裝ipad、ipad mini及多數平板電腦，相當具有功能性。
