黑橋牌香腸博物館開始為期3個月的『老屋開門』主題展覽，特地將老屋聚散整理，以『大菜市』、『孔廟園區』、『五條港』、『十字大街』與『小西腳』5大區域。希望透過此次展覽，讓更多遊客看見府城老房子的優雅與悠閒的人文生活步調，並跟著展覽上的地圖，一起實地走訪。

展覽之外，更有兩場精彩專題講座，第1場在10/5(六)下午兩點，邀請王浩一老師以『老房子就是城市的記憶』出發，欣賞個別佇立的老屋，各自創造出如何精采的城市光景；第2場在11/3(日)下午兩點，邀請台南在地的老屋經營者─謝小五，分享他對於台南、對於老屋的理想藍圖。

【綜合報導】由於過去5年來，學校經費被重砍，美國加州大學無力再提供獎學金，給所有清貧學生，校方決定向外求救，邀請大家一起來幫忙。

學校發起「教育發願」(Promise for Education)的活動，參與者首先要訂定一個目標，像是每天穿玩偶裝出門維持一個月，或是24小時演奏音樂不間斷，還是領養貓咪等，接著用自己訂定的目標，建立一個募款活動，分享給親友大眾，呼籲大眾樂捐，收到的款項，將作為清貧學生的獎學金。
 
一名UCLA的研究生安吉拉桑卻茲，就發願要舉辦24小時魔術秀，還有人發願將吃素一年等等，目前總募款金額已超過85萬美元。

【突發中心／新北報導】昨天深夜11時許，三鶯橋下沙洲部落被人發現有火光冒出，警消趕往現場，發現是一間無人的工寮在燃燒，面積約20平方公尺，所並未延燒。
