立法院長王金平下午3點返回高雄路竹老家，先到巷子口的代天府參拜。現場聚集了支持者，包括高雄9名各黨籍立委、卸任立委林宏宗、南投市長許淑華，以及江欽良、小潘潘夫婦等。

高雄市長陳菊、副市長劉世芳，也趕到路竹與王金平寒喧。一見面，陳菊就說，院長瘦了！她表示，同為高雄人，王金平為高雄付出這麼多，一定要來支持院長，「不讓院長孤獨！」

王金平非常感動，感謝大家的支持！
