我一直覺得 Google Reader 要關閉不是什麼需要擔心的事情。早在三個月前我就自己轉移到 Feedly ，也慢慢發現 Feedly 許多優於 Google Reader 的特點，而不久前所有訂閱都自動無痛轉移到 Feedly，基本上，沒有什麼轉換的問題。也再次驗證我常說的：
一個工具、服務或許不可能長命百歲，但只要用戶有需求，就一定有繼承者。而且很多時候當時代與技術變遷，用戶真正需要擔心的不是沒有工具可以用，而是自己的方法是不是已經過時了。
「 Google Reader 」亦如是，當然還是有這類 RSS 訂閱服務的需求，但這個需求本身是否已經有些轉變？你的 RSS Reader 裡有沒有累積太多未讀文章？你真的每天都花大量時間把 Reader 中的每篇文章讀完？而這些文章是不是真的對你有幫助？這樣的時間花費值得嗎？有沒有更好的方法？
Google Reader 在 7/1 就要正式關門，網路上「一大堆」替代品，甚至出現比之前更多的 RSS 文章訂閱閱讀器，完全不需要用戶擔心找不到訂閱工具，然而，在選擇這些 RSS 閱讀繼承者的同時，大家有沒有想過：
除了換個工具繼續訂閱 RSS ，是否需要更新閱讀資訊的方法？
一、社群新聞
「以前」每天要獲得最新消息，似乎真的只有 RSS 閱讀器是最好的工具（當然，一直以來真正懂得這個方法妙處的只有小眾），以前只有 RSS 閱讀器能把各種不同網站的新聞報導納入單一閱讀器中一次讀完。
