許多影像處理工作者多選擇用 Mac 電腦，原因出於其穩定的系統以及工作軟體的出色表現，除了 Apple 內建的 iPhoto 可以做基礎的影像處理外，另一個受到專業人士歡迎的 App 是 Aperture，不過去年 Apple 就宣布將發展 Mac 電腦新的 App：Photos，最近也釋出更多關於 Photos 的消息。
除了有名的 Photoshop，不少攝影師應該都會選擇 Aperture，在 Mac 電腦上做專業的影像處理，不過今年春天 Apple 的 Photos 上架後，Aperture 將下架。

Apple 表示 Photos 推出後，在 Mac App Store 是看不到 Aperture 了，但已經下載 Aperture 的用戶仍可繼續使用，只是不能更新。
Photos 到底是什麼 App？原本在 Mac 電腦上可以使用的是 iPhoto，一般使用者就用它做最普通的影像處理，Photos 主打簡單易上手，結合 iCloud 的 Photo Library 功能，橫跨 iOS 及 Mac OS X 平台，呼應 Apple 一直強調的跨平台連續工作。

說實話，Photos 就是你已經在 iPhone 上看到的「照片」App，不過在 Mac 上有了更多的功能：
