據報導，蘋果正與一家南韓電信商洽談下一款iPhone支援下一代高速傳輸網路LTE-Advanced(下簡稱LTE-A)的計畫。

據報導，蘋果 (Apple) (AAPL-US) 正與一家南韓電信商洽談下一款iPhone支援下一代高速傳輸網路LTE-Advanced(下簡稱LTE-A)的計畫。

三星上周宣布升級版Galaxy S4，成為頭一家推出支援LTE-A的智慧手機之廠商，由SK Telecom配合。

《韓國時報》周一報導，SK Telecom也與蘋果洽談此項技術。根據不具名消息來源指稱，這兩家公司正在溝通的中間階段。

依據報導，SK Telecom有意在年底前盡量推出多一些支援LTE-A的設備。

下一代iPhone(可能稱為iPhone 5S) 預計今年秋季推出，但在美國，蘋果可能還要一段時間才會推出支援LTE-A的智慧手機。

Verizon、T-Mobile 和 Sprint均曾表達他們已開始探詢建造LTE-A網路的事宜，但美國方面，多數大型電信商仍試著完成推展LTE網路的工作。
