為了鼓勵台灣有更多的藝術新秀站上國際舞台，今年第一次舉辦設計比賽。

找來葛萊美設計獎得主蕭青陽，還有實踐大學教授曲家瑞擔任評審，用手機背殼來創作，兩個人也分別先示範做了幾幅創作，希望能夠評選出10幅作品，登上網路平台，讓其他國家的人也能看見台灣人的軟實力。
