今年美網男單冠軍納達爾擁有不少球迷，連WTA職業女網目前世界排名第二的白俄羅斯好手阿莎蓮卡，和台灣女網一姊謝淑薇都欣賞這位「蠻牛球王」。

阿莎蓮卡在男單決賽前和媒體聊到世界第二納達爾和塞爾維亞籍世界第一喬科維奇的對決，以半開玩笑口吻說：「我無法預測誰會獲勝，但我想要誰贏球，納達爾說服了我支持他。為什麼我會支持他？因為他練球時會打赤膊秀身材。」

納達爾身材結實，2011年曾為Emporio Armani拍過牛仔褲及內衣廣告，謝淑薇昨也在臉書粉絲專頁放上她與「蠻牛球王」的合照，恭喜納達爾美網封王，並寫道：「納豆奪冠～太棒了！！！.Yes Rafaaaaaaaaaaa!!!Great come back.謎：硬要放這張是？薇：偶開薰啊，給偶管。」（記者陳筱琳）
