原定於本月 28 日發表的 Google Nexus 5 手機提前在 Google Play 閃電上架，最低售價從美金 349 元起跳。Nexus 5 仍為 LG 所代工，搭載 5 吋螢幕、Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 四核處理器及 Android 4.4 KitKat 作業系統。

外界普遍猜測 Google 將於本月底的發表會上公布 Nexus 5 手機，沒想到今日在 Google Play Store 上卻意外出現 16GB 版本 Nexus 5 上架的資訊。維持過去 Nexus 手機一貫的實惠價格，Nexus 5 16GB 建議售價為 349 美元，和前一代 Nexus 4 16GB 價格相同。

由於 Nexus 5 尚未正式發表便突然上架，因此點擊圖片無法取得更進一步的資訊；但從圖片上來看，Nexus 5 與先前謠傳的外型相同，全黑色機身搭配 5 吋螢幕，桌面圖示為最新的 Android 4.4 KitKat 作業系統。Google Nexus 5  將由 LG 代工製造，預計將搭載 5 吋 FHD IPS 螢幕，Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 四核心處理器、2GB RAM、800 萬畫素光學防手震相機、具有 16GB/32GB 兩種容量可供選擇。

由於 Nexus 系列手機在價格上會受到 Google 補助，因此售價都相當便宜；新款 Nexus 5 能否在台灣上架還是未知數，但隨著台灣 Google Play 恢復付費機制的狀況下，我們還是可以小小期待一下。
