以色列任命史上第一位央行女總裁

以色列總理內唐亞胡和財長拉皮德，20日任命央行副總裁佛勒格（Karnit Flug）出任央行總裁，是以色列央行史上第一位女總裁。

今年58歲的佛勒格將接替今年6月離職的費雪（Stanley Fischer），出任以色列央行總裁。佛勒格從2011年7月起擔任央行副總裁至今，自費雪離職後就一直代理總裁。

佛勒格是美國哥倫比亞經濟學博士，曾任職於國際貨幣基金（IMF）。內唐亞胡和拉皮德看好她能帶領以色列安度全球經濟動盪。在佛勒格之前另有兩人被提名，以色列當地媒體甚至傳出，內唐亞胡也找過與美國聯準會主席大位擦身而過的桑默斯（Lawrence Summers），不過桑默斯婉拒。

內唐亞胡表示，他和拉皮德對佛勒格擔任央行代理總裁時的表現印象深刻，認為她能帶領以色列安度「全球經濟動盪」。這項任命仍須獲得政府批准。
