（路透舊金山20日電）谷歌公司（Google Inc）今天表示，將推出預付簽帳卡（prepaid debit card），讓消費者可以用卡到商店購買東西和從自動提款機領錢。

谷歌僅在美國推出簽帳卡，讓消費者利用存在谷歌電子錢包（Google Wallet）帳號內的錢購物。谷歌電子錢包是一種智慧手機應用程式和線上付費服務，讓消費者購買商品和轉帳。 谷歌今天在官方部落格文章寫道，「數百萬」接受萬事達卡（MasterCard）的商家和自動提款機，都將接受新的簽帳卡。 谷歌說，申請預付簽帳卡免費，谷歌也不會收取月費或年費。 儘管谷歌未如先前外界猜測推出信用卡，不過這款預付簽帳卡能讓谷歌在商業交易上扮演更重要角色，也可以提供谷歌消費者購物習慣的珍貴資訊。 谷歌發言人證實，民眾使用新款簽帳卡的交易資料將被新增至谷歌儲存的使用者內部檔案中，而這有助鎖定目標客群打廣告。中央社（翻譯）
