綠營嘉市長參選人 涂醒哲發表赴日考察心得

綠營嘉義市長參選人、前衛生署長涂醒哲今天中午在鈺通大飯店，發表赴日考察心得及競選口號徵求活動，涂醒哲說，他上月以台灣聯合國協會理事長身分，赴日本東京市參加東京分會大會，順道考察與嘉義市人口地理條件相仿的盛崗、秋田、小山、長崗及福島等5個城市，認為交通停車場、市民市場等建設，值得觀摩學習。

涂醒哲也發表對外徵求競選口號，3天內共獲得數百名市民參與，提供競選口號，經挑選30個競選口號，請媒體記者等評審，入選前10名將贈送他親筆簽名著作並合影留念。涂發表會結束，飯店火警警鈴誤觸聲響起，宴會中斷，讓涂及工作人員、媒體記者虛驚一場。
