去年酒駕車禍死亡人數減少131人

警政署統計，去年全國共有245人因酒駕車禍死亡，比前年大幅減少131人；各縣市中高雄市減少40人最多，台中市減少21人次之；台東縣則增加7人，酒駕車禍死亡人數全國增加最多。

警政署表示，去年全國共取締酒駕違規11萬8864件，移送法辦6萬865件；民眾總酒駕取締人數減少5756人，但因刑法標準變嚴格，違法移送法辦人數增加了8433人。

年關「尾牙」期間，民眾飲宴機會變多，警政署表示已要求各縣市警察機關加強酒駕取締；也呼籲民眾切記「開車不喝酒」，必要時可找「指定駕駛」或搭乘計程車，千萬不要以身試法，也尊重自己和別人生命。
