索羅斯是一位億萬富豪解疑大叔，近幾日，他提出了多所建議。

關於德國，他曾說如果該歐洲最大經濟體先前退出歐元，而不是實施撙節措施，則歐元區應會較現在要好。他認為撙節措施最終會毀了歐盟。

周四，他將注意力轉向了英國。

英國首相卡麥隆曾保證，如果他的保守黨於2015年的選舉中，保住了政權，將於2017年進行公投，決定英國應留在或退出歐盟。

在周四發表於金融時報的專欄中，索羅斯對英國退出歐盟提出了警告，他聲稱，這不只不利於英國經濟，還會加劇全球權力真空，此一真空係由美國與歐洲日益增加的孤立所引發。

他說英國退出將進一步分裂歐盟，將大幅削弱歐盟在世界的影響力，這不只是歐洲的重大損失，更是全世界的損失。
