美伊利諾州居民 MERS病毒呈陽性

美國疾病管制暨預防中心（CDC）今天表示，曾與印第安納州（Indiana）病患有過密切接觸的伊利諾州（Illinois）1名居民，檢驗出中東呼吸症候群（MERS）冠狀病毒陽性。

路透社報導，前述印第安納州病患是美國境內已知的首起中東呼吸症候群病例。

美國疾病管制暨預防中心說，這名伊利諾州居民回報感覺良好，並未尋求也無需醫療照護，但參與美國首起MERS病例調查的官員，自5月3日起就一直監視他的健康狀態。

美國首起MERS確診病例，於5月初在印地安納州發現，第2起確診病例於5月11日在佛羅里達州發現。
