[世紀帝國III]是在2005年10月18日推出的遊戲。
[群酋爭霸]則是[世紀帝國III]的首部資料片，
於2006年10月17日推出，大部分內容變更都很輕微，
但以美洲原住民為焦點，引入了3個新文明，
最值得注意的是引入了戰酋單位。
[亞洲王朝]則是[世紀帝國III]的第二張資料片，
於2007年10月23日推出，
遊戲引進全新的亞洲文明體系，加入3個新文明。
