芝加哥小熊向來對非官方吉祥物「Billy Cub」非常感冒，近日這隻「Billy Cub」在酒吧滋事，讓小熊終於逮到機會提出告訴。

今年4月初，一名男子穿著「Billy Cub」在酒吧飲酒作樂，卻遭陌生人將頭套摘下，該名男子怒火中燒，回頭給陌生人一拳，過程全被拍了下來，並出現在各家媒體報導中。

在新聞上看到「Billy Cub」打架，小熊球團指出這家酒吧在球場附近，如此大膽滋事已嚴重影響球隊形象，球隊難忍這口氣，因此向曾扮演「Billy Cub」的Weier父子及另3名人士提告。

擁有超過140年歷史的小熊，本季才有官方吉祥物「Clark」，而小熊超級粉絲John Paul Weier在6年前扮演「Billy Cub」，在當地小有名氣，小熊見狀認為已侵犯到球團權益，為此警告Weier。

不過，Weier表示自己並非牟利，繼續扮演「Billy Cub」在球場遊走，直到4月份的酒吧事件，小熊才得以讓「Billy Cub」不再作怪。
