去顫器沒關　英漢被電活31次

77歲英國癌末病人威廉斯（Brian Williams），2年前在家屬同意下，放棄救治，醫生拔掉維生器後，竟忘了關掉植入性心臟去顫器，導致他兩天被電擊復活31次後才過世，家屬前天稱醫院的疏失讓他父親「不得好死」，告上法院，要求醫院道歉，但院方稱已同意庭外和解。

英國媒體報導，威廉斯放棄治療後，醫生忘記關閉他體內調整心律的植入性心臟去顫器（Implantable Cardiac Defibrillator, ICD），使得他兩天內在家屬面前連續被電擊「復活了31次」。家屬難過稱，起初大家都不明白是怎麼回事，直到有人摸到威廉斯的手被電到才發現原因。威廉斯在ICD關閉後數小時內便過世。家屬稱父親生前希望有尊嚴地離世，卻事與願違。院方稱當時已向家屬道歉，目前雙方已在庭外達成和解。（張渝萍／綜合外電報導）
