高雄1日凌晨傳出嚴重氣爆，行政院已於凌晨1時左右，成立中央災害應變中心，各部會陸續抵達，行政院長江宜樺也趕往坐鎮指揮。

高雄凌晨傳出嚴重氣爆，總統馬英九在第一時間已經掌握情況，並與行政院長江宜樺電話聯繫，指示相關單位全力協助應變，全力搶救傷患。
