厄瓜多全國製鞋公會10家廠商將於22日至28日訪台灣，24日上午由外貿協會安排在台中舉行採購洽談會。

擬採購的項目包括製鞋橡膠、塑膠原料、PVC機器、射出機器、壓模機械、布料剪裁機、各類的內線機、外線機和馬克車、顏料、合成皮、皮革、鞋底以及布製拖鞋等機械和原物料及配件。

駐厄瓜多代表處表示，採購會將於24日上午9時至12時在台中長榮桂冠酒店舉行，歡迎台灣相關廠商企業向中華民國對外貿易發展協會報名參加。

厄瓜多全國製鞋公會曾於2012年10月組團赴台採購，在外貿協會協助下舉辦採購會，完成108場次洽談，現場成交金額56萬美元，後續商機則達244萬美元。

由於台灣機械和物料品質良好，厄瓜多製鞋業對台灣產品印象良好，因此決定再度組團赴台採購機械及原物料。訪台期間也將拜會同業公會，並參觀台中精密機械工業園區，以及若干機械和製鞋廠之生產線。
