學聯釋善意　開放電車線

香港學聯、留守金鐘道的示威者和電車公司詳盡商討後，同意協助暫開金鐘道的電車路段，讓八架空電車駛回跑馬地，恢復該區電車服務。

學聯強調，「留守金鐘道的原因並非為了抗衡市民，亦非蓄意阻礙市民日常生活，而是希望透過佔領街道向政府施壓，使特區政府及早正視香港人對於真普選的訴求。市民從來不是示威者所施壓的對象，因此，我們同意短暫開啟電車路，令並非佔領區的跑馬地盡快恢復電車服務」。（余浚安／綜合外電報導）
