菸蒂引公寓火警　手指沒菸味不起訴

桃園市中正三街一戶出租公寓，今年7月19日深夜在曬衣服的陽台竄出火苗，延燒到客廳及浴廁，吳姓房客（40歲）一家三口及時逃生幸未釀成傷亡，案經消防局派員到場鑑定後認為「起火原因以菸蒂引火之可能性較大」，並依公共危險罪嫌將吳男送辦。

吳男堅稱他和家人都沒有抽菸的習慣，承辦檢察官當庭勘驗吳男的雙手手指、指縫亦未聞到有香菸的味道，且經勘查曬衣服的陽台為鏤空的四方形鐵窗，也有可能是他人亂丟煙蒂飄入陽台引發火警，因此予以不起訴處分。（張沛森／桃園報導）
