如果你曾有過上網相親的經歷，或許能體會到那種見到真人後與預期相去甚遠的失落感。有研究顯示，女性在網戀中最害怕的是遇到『花心男』，而男性最害怕的竟是遇到胖子。

貼吧網據美國媒體報導，對此，美國約會交友網站Simple Pickup做了一項社會實驗，讓一名身材苗條的女子假扮成胖女人和多人相親，結果不少男子在與之見面後嚇得『落荒而逃』。
