（中央社葉門首都沙那7日綜合外電報導）葉門西部塔伊茲省（Taiz）安全當局今天表示，走私客用以運送非法移民到葉門的1艘船隻碰上惡劣天候，在紅海中沉沒，造成至少70名衣索比亞人溺斃。

人蛇販子經常使用不耐風浪的船隻，走私非洲移民到葉門，葉門被視為是偷渡到沙烏地阿拉伯、阿曼等中東富裕國家，乃至西方國家的門戶。

塔伊茲省安全當局說，這艘不算大的走私船昨天因強風大浪在葉門阿馬哈港（al-Makha）外海沉沒。

安全當局又說，船上載有70人，全是衣索比亞人。(中央社)
