從種種跡象顯示，Sony PSN網站服務出現一些不穩定的情況。Sony官方隨後發出推文表示，已發現到某些用戶連上PSN時出現問題，並正在調查，感謝耐心等待。數小時後PSN再度發出推文表示已經排除問題。由於駭客團體Lizard Squad在事發同時在Twitter上貼出「PSN登入，下線」的訊息，因此外界將此事歸咎於Lizard Squad。
