（中央社倫敦22日綜合外電報導）現今社會越來越多男人選擇親自照料新生兒，英國研究指出，男性也可和女性一樣肩負起這個重責大任。

英國「每日郵報」（Daily Mail）報導，科學家發現，當新手爸爸花時間與孩子相處時，大腦將會產生物理變化，如同媽媽的大腦變化般。

研究進一步揭露，父母雙方如何適應家庭出現新成員的喜悅及緊張。

研究顯示，親自照料新生兒的爸爸，與情感有關連的大腦部位會發生變化，以察覺嬰兒需求及改善同時做多種事的多工能力。

但與母親不同，寶寶出生後，男性大腦中與決策和記憶有關的部位，會變得比較不活躍。

科學家表示，這項發現可能有助於確認大腦那些區域攸關早期建立父子關係，此親子關係對小孩會有長期影響。

研究報告刊登於「社會神經科學」（SocialNeuroscience）期刊，首次觀察新生兒出後幾個月內新手爸爸的大腦變化。（譯者：中央社林儀茹）1031222
