苦苓愛面子　硬撐老灰仔過關

苦苓錄中天《SS小燕之夜》透露自己曾與小嫻一起主持，節目上需要講笑話，但他收藏笑話有限，常不小心講到重複的笑話，原本心存僥倖可以蒙混過關，未料竟遭小嫻和女來賓當場抓包，讓導播喊卡。愛面子的苦苓只好硬著頭皮瞎掰：「我不是沒梗，是礙於電視台尺度不能講啦。」

范曉萱早期成名曲之一《健康歌》曾找苦苓客串歌曲中爺爺的聲音，當初苦苓也因為愛面子，自認40歲無法扮演老人聲音，因此婉拒唱片公司邀約。沒想到後來這首歌暴紅，讓苦苓至今襖悔不已。（蔡維歆／台北報導）
