中場休息時間，他走過來跟我打招呼。我不確定他是哪裡人，英文非常流利，中文有北京口音，但令我不解的是他為何對台灣有興趣。

我參加一個全球創投年會，參加者來自全球各地，就像一個聯合國。我按耐不住自己的好奇心，還是把話匣子轉到他背景上。

「我父親來自大陸，但我在香港出生，很小的時候就搬到美國去了，我有不少中文是和台灣人學的，我太太是台灣人，每年我有幾個月必須去台灣。」

「那你們不會想到台灣居住嗎？」我問。

「當然想，香港實在太擠，如果不是因為我服務的公司總部在香港，否則我們都寧可住在台灣，環境舒適，東西好吃，交通方便，房價又便宜。」

「我們公司在台灣也有據點，我負責大中華區，其實也可以請調到台灣去，但問題是台灣的商業infrastructure不行。」

最近有不少香港中產階層感到香港居住不易，政治環境又變得複雜，興起移民的念頭，台灣在這波移民潮中，成為香港人的新寵。

但荒謬的是，根據專業市調機構蓋洛普(Gallup)調查，台灣人想要移民出走的比例高居亞洲第二(21%)，僅次於菲律賓(22%)。

蓋洛普同時也公布了「淨移民指數」，也就是欲移民進入一個國家的人口，減去欲移出人口，除以該國成年人口總和，最高的是新加坡(219%)，其次是紐西蘭(184%)，澳洲則為148%，結果並不令人意外。

台灣人移民很多看上馬來西亞，因為生活費低、氣候良好、台語也通，加上馬國政府積極鼓勵「投資移民」。
