美國紐約布魯克林區的一個工人階級社區，廿六日晚發生滅門血案。一名廿五歲華裔男子持刀在一棟民宅內瘋狂亂砍亂刺，造成五人死亡，分別是一位母親與四名子女。

紐約郵報報導，初步研判，凶嫌是四名兒童的堂兄或表兄，患有精神疾病，警方於現場發現他赤腳站在血泊中，隨即將他制伏逮捕。警方並帶回應是凶器的一把彎刀和剪刀。

當地時間廿六日晚十時五十分許，警方接獲報案，表示日落公園附近、第五十七街的一處華裔居住社區發生凶案。警方趕至，發現五人倒臥血泊，均無意識也無反應。

醫護人員當場宣布一歲半的男孩和七歲與九歲的兩名女孩已無氣息。五歲的男孩和卅七歲的母親分送兩家醫院後也宣告不治。所有受害人的上半身都被刺了數刀。

目擊者說，嫌犯雙手反銬被帶走時未顯得畏畏縮縮。一名兒童被擔架抬走時，他面無表情，當著被殺兒童的面，也有問有答，嫌犯與這家人同屋居住，警方截至廿七日仍未指控他任何罪名。

根據鄰居與警方人員，死亡兒童的父親嚇壞了，他剛從工作地點返家，看見警察與現場。另有報導指出，父親從工作地點趕回阻止凶手，可是為時已晚。

報案者是死亡母親的一名姐妹，她當時也在場，但未受傷。

鄰居覺得宛如目睹一場恐怖電影。卅三歲林姓鄰居說：「我看到擔架上的母親和一名孩子，渾身是血。」

眼紅生活幸福 殺表哥一家5口

紐約布魯克林區昨天深夜發生慘絕人寰的殺人案。一名來自大陸的新移民因為眼紅表哥一家幸福美滿，居然下手殺害表嫂與4名年幼的子女。

這名現年25歲、2004年到美國的嫌犯陳明東（音譯，Mingdong Chen）向警方表示，他之所以會痛下殺手，是因為看不慣表哥一家幸福美滿，認為他們擁有太多，所有人都過得比他好。

紐約市警局表示，嫌犯在警方逮捕時異常冷靜，即使看見被他殺害的小孩鮮血淋漓的移出凶宅，也面無表情。紐約警方已經以1起一級謀殺、4起二級謀殺罪名起訴這名兇嫌。

警方指出，這名嫌犯原先居住在芝加哥，約8到10天前，抵達紐約投靠卓姓（Zhuo）被害人一家。卓姓被害人一家除了夫妻兩人外，還有4名分別是9歲、7歲、5歲、和1歲半的四名子女。

警方表示，遭到殺害的表嫂昨晚事發前，曾試圖打電話給先生抱怨陳姓嫌犯行為詭異，但找不到人，只好打回大陸向母親訴苦。她的母親再打電話給住在布魯克林的媳婦，讓他們去看看狀況，卻只看到兇嫌全身是血來應門，其餘人已經慘遭毒手。

據了解，中國大陸駐紐約領事館人員透露，已經接獲遇害親屬致電求助，正在了解情況和盡量提供協助，女性死者及其丈夫分別來自福建和廣東。
