台南市長賴清德表示，台南具有歷史文化的城市，他希望推動台南成為潮流新文化城市，新文化包括科技、綠能、低碳，及台南深具實力的時尚產業。他說，台南有完整的紡織成衣工業，還有17所大學提供專業人才的資源，缺乏的只是舞台，只要有舞台，相信台南品牌一定走得出去。

晚會走秀由宏遠興業、織足工作坊、和明紡織、台灣洪崴－俊達生技、霈姬時尚、台灣優質內衣聯盟等台南品牌，於伸展台上展示2013秋冬、2014春夏的最新產品。

宏遠興業以生產無毒、環保、機能布料知名，產品獲得瑞士bluesign環保認證，100%台灣生產製造，多功能設計加上排汗、防曬的機能布料，符合現代人需求。

織足工作坊康月足倡導生活禪，將禪修融入衣著中，以簡單自然的設計與布料，提倡安頓身心的衣著。和明紡織所生產的格紋布料為歐美大品牌指定採購，因此由代工廠商跨足品牌經營。

台灣紅崴－俊達生技則以足弓矯正鞋獲得3大國際發明獎肯定，除矯正鞋墊、矯正鞋外，也生產各種具預防醫療功能的產品，完全由台南在地製造。

霈姬時尚崛起於網路，主打平價時尚的女性袋包款。時尚秀壓軸，由台灣優質內衣聯盟展示旗下品牌，凱芮絲秋冬女性調整型胸罩與塑褲、蜜塔詩運動功能內衣，及八豐盟女性機能型體雕衣等，兼具精細作工與體雕功能。

蒞臨晚會的在地品牌企業負責人，包括和明紡織總經理陳富泉、霈姬時尚總經理莊龍隆、台南皮革公會理事長曾阿色、台灣優質內衣聯盟理事長王紹聰、紅崴科技集團創辦人謝進興等，及多所大學校長到場支持。

主辦單位同時成立「台灣流行時尚產業聯盟」，推動紡織、成衣、刺繡、皮革、鞋、袋包、文創、設計、配飾、通路、法人單位及學界等跨界整合，建立交流平台，激盪出足以代表時尚的產品走向國際。首任理事長李桂林（和明紡織）表示，世界的流行已走到亞洲，將協助會員找回台灣特有的工藝融入設計，共同完成自創品牌的願景。◇
