7月中旬的晚上的白川值得去吗？

我大概7月15日下午5点到达佟家别馆，放下行李后，想在晚饭前，或晚饭后，去花见小路和白川逛逛，由于不是樱花期，晚上的白川值得去逛逛吗？路上会不会很黑？因为好像说晚上7点京都的各商店都关门的了。

请教前辈们指点，谢谢！
