雇工砍樹 地主跑錯邊遭壓死

苗栗大湖有男子雇工砍樹，當樹木正要傾倒時，疑似跑錯方向閃避不及遭樹幹壓傷，送醫不治，苗栗檢警今天相驗調查。

54歲的邱姓地主是苗栗大湖鄉草莓農，因草莓園日照被山坡上的大樹遮蔽，聘請工人清理山坡上雜木林；昨天傍晚4名工人在現場作業接近尾聲時，有民眾發現站在下坡處的邱男被傾倒的樹幹壓傷，趕緊向119求救。

消防局獲報抵達現場時，邱男已無生命跡象，送醫急救仍回天乏術。

砍樹工人指出，因作業時無法看清山坡下狀況，曾多次提醒邱男「要離遠一點，別靠太近」，等到附近民眾發現邱男臉朝下被壓在直徑約2、30公分的樹幹下，已經為時已晚。

目擊工人表示，當樹幹傾倒時，邱男試圖閃避「但跑錯邊」，且樹幹隨著山坡滑動，還是壓到他。

警方今天傳訊4名工人說明作業經過，檢警也將相驗遺體，調查釐清死亡原因。
