標題[請益] 升級CPU MB的BIOS需要更新嘛!?

如題，小弟原CPU是AMD Athlon X2 7750，MB是ASUS M4A79 Deluxe。 現在小弟的CPU考慮要換 AMD Athlon II X4 640 或者是 AMD Phenom II X4 965 然而小弟有去查ASUS官網，那2顆CPU小弟的主機板都能支援，只是BIOS版本不一樣， 所以問體來了，要更新BIOS是在我現在原CPU上就去更新BIOS了嗎!?還是裝上新的CPU才 更新!?還有就是換CPU一定要更新BIOS嘛!?還是說用原版本的BIOS也沒關係!? 這是小弟第一次自己動手，拿舊電腦小升級(沒有多餘的錢鈔票可以買新的規格)。 最後更新BIOS一定會進到DOS的系統裡還是說可以在WINDOWS下就直接更新呢!? 謝謝大家~~~~~~~~ -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 111.253.66.104
