記者邱明玉／台北報導 前總統李登輝今（23）日將前往花蓮和宜蘭進行三天兩夜的「生命之旅」，這不但是他從去年4月開始啟動「生命之旅」的最後一站，也讓他將今年7月中旬，因椎動脈手術住院延遲的下鄉行程完成，達成他將台灣本島環島走透透的心願，而從花蓮回宜蘭的途中，李前總統也將首度搭乘普悠瑪號。 李前總統去年動完大腸癌手術後即進行休養，接近李登輝的人士昨表示，李登輝術後恢復得不錯，其高血壓、糖尿病與心臟病也都在控制範圍內,近李人士指出，他在台灣各地有不少老朋友，由於好友不斷邀約，李登輝因此決定到基層走走。 李登輝基金會指出，此次下鄉仍以農業、弱勢、醫療為下鄉主軸，除了與宜蘭、花蓮農民座談外，李登輝將前往花蓮門諾醫院及羅東聖母醫院參訪，並在玉山神學院、東華大學進行兩場演講，從花蓮回宜蘭的途中，李前總統也將首度搭乘台鐵的普悠瑪號。 李登輝儘管高齡90歲，還是許多政治人物請益的對象,此行李登輝也將與花蓮縣長傅崐萁、宜蘭縣長林聰賢會面，並將發表一年多來下鄉心得。 李登輝的「生命之旅」完成後，李登輝基金會下月2日起，將一連3個周六舉辦「健全地方發展與治理」研討會。邀請學者、地方政務官針對台灣國土規劃、區域治理、地方自治等議題進行探討，11月16日閉幕前，還將邀請縣市首長與李登輝進行對話。
