台中市西區美術園道中的公共藝術作品─藝術街道家具「王位」因年久失修，苦無修繕經費，面臨被移除窘境，經美術園道管委會奔走，展開搶救王位大作戰，找到台中市打里摺建築公司支持，捐助六十萬元，以青銅重新修繕，今天中午「王位」重新開放啟用，吸引民眾駐足。
