國三生2發明　獲2013倫敦發明展鑽石獎

【鄭敏玲／台中報導】台灣之光！東海大學附設中學國三的林明毅因為深受戴牙套，難以清潔牙齒的困擾，靈機一動想出妙招，發明了『多功能口腔檢查器』，透過電子螢幕以及微型攝影機，人人都可自行輕鬆檢查口腔縫隙。這項實用且有趣的發明讓他獲得2013英國倫敦國際發明展青少年組總冠軍最高榮譽鑽石獎。

此外，他還改造國外軍隊常用的反恐偵測器，發明了『隱藏式鏡頭的反恐車底監視器』，流利的英文解說與靈活的設計想法，讓他獲得俄羅斯阿基米德科學獎，成為大會中青少年組唯一奪得兩金佳績的雙料冠軍。
