北市交通大隊因應尾牙旺季，28日晚上開始「尾牙酒駕大執法」，除了汽車及機車族以外，今年度特別把單車列為執法重點，在北市重點路段進行取締。

據報導，台北市交通大隊因應尾牙旺季的到來，北市警局122單位聯合出動500警力，加上新添購的百萬重機，在台北市餐廳、酒店、夜店密集地區包含中山北路、忠孝東路、市民大道、信義路、南京東路、中華路、延平北路等重要路段，一同展開酒駕大執法。

今年1月到11月底，警方已取締39件單車族酒駕案件，今年的尾牙酒駕大執法特別將單車族納入重點。根據新推行的道路交通管理處罰條例73條，自行車酒後駕駛是危險駕駛，可以罰300元到600元，單車族若拒絕進行酒測，最高還可再罰1200元。
